HISTORY

Kim Clapham, founder of Terramar, has lived and worked in a variety of beach destinations in Mexico for 25 years, first coming to Los Cabos in 1984. Terramar was established in 1993 and has maintained a consistent growth and significant market position over the years.

We are happy to officially announce the growing partnership structure of Terramar Destinations. This past summer Carlos and Sunny Irvine, a father and son team, joined Kim Clapham as partners. The Irvine’s tourism experience of 35 years in the cruise and shore operations business, in addition to more recent expansion into supplier services, compliment the Group, Incentive, and Leisure focus which Terramar is so well known for.

Terramar has been an important promoter in the destination and founder in the development of groups and incentives in the area of Los Cabos. We were the first Group and Incentive-focused DMC (more than a ground handler) in the destination. We are proud of the educational base we have created for the DMC, marketing, touring, and transportation industry.
